1. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:20 p.m.

2.Adoption of Agenda
   Daryll Hyslop moved adoption of the amended Agenda.  Seconded
   by   Bill Russell.                                                                                   
Carried.

3.Adoption of the Minutes of the previous meeting of March 14th, 2006
   Pat Dunlop moved adoption of the Minutes. 
   Seconded by Bill Russell.                                                                
Carried.

4.Financial Report - Bill Russell
• Bill Russell moved adoption of the financial report.  Seconded by  
  Gary Dunlop.                                                                                        
Carried.

5.Correspondence Sent:
• Letters sent to some septic haulers and one has signed up for the
  seminar.

• Email reminder was sent to members where we have addresses.  The
  reminder also noted that this seminar was at the request of members
  at the AGM in 2004


6.Correspondence Received
• Correspondence from Rick Storie of Wallace Lake was read.
• Dave Crabb has Mike Routledge's AGM presentation.  It is 3mg and  
  Dave will send out upon request.  Dr. Routledge was also given a   
  Buffalo Point contact.

  
7.Old Business

a)  Workshop Seminar Planning. -
• One-Tonne Challenge - Pat advised that there was an article in the  
   newspaper that the One-Tonne Challenge is a department will not be
   funded with the new government. 

•  Dave is to check with Dennis Lawson to see if he requires copying.

•  Room for Dennis has been booked at Place Louis Riel.  Place Louis
    Riel has given us a good deal on both the meeting room and
    Dennis's room.


•  Dave to check with Dennis Lawson re equipment required and to
    make arrangements.

b)  MACO Website
     - Nothing to report at this time.

c) Sustainable Development Initiative Fund Proposal

     • Dave read a letter from Water Stewardship acknowledging receipt
       of our proposal and advising of the process and time.

d)  Cheque for $5,000.00
     • Bill has received a replacement for the stale dated cheque and will
         be putting it into a GIC.

e)  School Taxes -
     
• Taxes were discussed and it was decided that we would work on a
         strategy after the seminar.


f) Pelican Lake
      • Shirley to give Pat the contact information for Vic Brown.

g) Coalition Activities
     
• No report yet.

8.New Business
(a)
Whiteshell Cottage Association - Dave Crabb reported on his
      attendance At the AGM.  Minister Stuthers spoke regarding projects
      (water and lagoon expansion due to both weather and increased
      use of holding tanks).  He urged them to attend hearings with
      respect to fees.  Speaker from health re blastamycosis.

9.Directors' Reports

Gus Wruck -
• The river opened up completely last weekend.  Passed seminar
   information to all houses.  Gus suggested we check out the July
   Cottager.  He will be retiring in June.  He is giving some thought to
   running for counsel.
 
Donna Jean Crabb -
• Advised of new water system for Victoria Beach.

Bill Russell -
• Advised that MACO has T2 information to be completed.

Pat Dunlop -
• No report.

Dave Crabb -
• No report.

Gary Dunlop - Advised
•  Advised of the Fishing Day held in March and that the beacon project
   is not dead.
