There are 3 kinds being limited, one being limited use, which would be like
an ice stand and 5 months use.  Two is seasonal which would be the average
cottager or about 7 months use.  Third is full time or 12 months use.  2008
is the beginning of the implementation of the new system based on shares
assessed on basic criteria - A:  human capacity of one share which is based
on a 3 bedroom cottage (6 people), B:  water, sewer, garbage and roadwork as
a base.  C:  Then other assessments like administration and other local assets.
Number of shares should increase due to accountability.  Government included
in shares.  Deloitte & Touche is the contractor managing review.  Includes
     any Manitoba parks.

8. New Business
•   Newsletter - Suggestions - report on Parks Review, article by Dr. Tim
Hilderman, Info on new directors, AGM report, Membership report.
•  Conservation District - focus primarily on conservation of soil and water
resources.  Received good portion of funding (75% provincial and 25% local)
for worthwhile project to enhance soil and water conservation.  eg:  promote
use of phosphate free dishwasher detergents.  Perhaps it would be worthwhile
for MACO to become involved.  Government website - conservation districts.
Gus is to keep us up to date.

9. Directors' Reports
Gus Wruck -  Some debates regarding boat launches in RM of Lac du Bonnet
over the last two years.  New counselor/contractor installed many boat
launches.  Shared article in Newsletter.  Lac du Bonnet Community Foundation
is progressing.  Warm weather has been an issue to Snow Pals swamp area
     grooming recently.

Dave Crabb - Great Christmas.  Has one snowmobile going, another should be
going shortly.  Bush trails are rough.

Al Perron - The private park used for years by the association has now been
sold. Our association approached the RM regarding the possibility of leasing
a scrub piece of land, of which it was agreed upon. Volunteers cleaned the
property last fall. We have a 5 year project plan to develop. Looking for
funding from Government Grants, RM and CDC for assistance. We have held two
sanctioned events on the previous park space which we plan to continue,
Family Fun Days and Corn Roast. At these events we provide games for all
ages, silent auction, 50-50, drinks, popcorn, hot dogs, ice cream, and corn
on the cob at the corn roast. The tradition in the past is to burn an old
"outhouse" at the corn roast with music as entertainment. Fireworks with
glow-in-the-dark toys for kids are also sold.

Gary Dunlop - Fishing shacks are out on the ice.  Have been notified about
                         a garbage surcharge.
