9.  Directors Reports
Shirley Nixon -  Shirley advised that the proposed Lundar Beach beacon
was mentioned to Shawn Feely, Program Director for IMPACT
for possible funding.  Ed Link, President of the Laurentia Beach
Association asked Shirley why they had not received The
Cottager as a member of MACO as they had in the past.  Bill
checked back to 1998 and it was determined that it was possibly
a promotion by The Cottager.  Betty Ann Watts should be
contacted to determine the deadline for the next issue and ask
her to attend the AGM.  Daryll Hyslop moved that the current
policy of individual members to received The Cottager be
                              continued.  Seconded by Bill Russell.
Carried.
At the Twin Lake Beaches AGM there was discussion about
what their area received or did not received from the
municipality.  Voting ballots were distributed to be completed
                              and returned later.

Daryll Hyslop
-  advised that he would be sending out the invoices (52).  He
reports sewage "pump out" into bay for second year in a row.
There was no response to their call until Bill Russell contacted
Dwight Williamson.  Things happed then.  RCMP went back the
next day with Conservation.  There has been no information
since.  Encouraged report to Oceans & Fisheries and
municipality.  Daryll reported to the municipality.

Jim Neufeld -
Jim asked if we could meet again with Dwight Williamson for an
update.  Jim to contact him to arrange a meeting.  Jim asked
about web software and Dave will follow up.  Jim will contact his
former website manager to determine if website name available -
                             cwlca.com.  Clearwater Lake is high - up 2 - 3 feet.  Not a
problem because they were low.  Purchased pump and lots of
hose for fire fighting.  AGM had a good turn out.  Hugo Bay -
someone with a long term lease.  Environmental survey indicates
that there should be no further development.  Lagoon serving lake
is at capacity and would need development.  Affluent goes
through marsh to Saskatchewan R.   Last lot draw allowed about a
dozen additions.  The Town of The Pas had the airport turned
over to them by Transport Canada a couple of years ago.  Rumor
is that the town may develop cottage lots but must have
                             environmental review.

Bill Russell -      Bill applauds the action of Daryll's area.  Bill will check on cheque
                             from Twin Lake Beach.

Gary and Pat Dunlop
                            - Advised that the Reeve and Deputy Reeve attended the Lundar
Beach & Sugar Point association's AGM.   They advised that
they will take the tower down that has been donated for the
beacon project and will move it.  Still awaiting a response from
                              the Province.

Joe Younge

                           -   Advised that he will miss the next meeting because he will be in
Grande Prairie. His association newsletter is sent in the spring
and dues are payable by mid May.  It is a requirement of the
lease to pay association dues.  Second notice usually sent.
They are personally contacting people and have had good
results from those contacted to date.  They are having their third
annual flea market and silent auction on July 30th   It is a
                               fundraiser for them.

Dave Crabb
-They had a water work party last weekend.  They now have 1 of 4
                            pumps working.  48 members with 7 deep wells, 6 - 7 shallow
wells.  Some attempts at new wells are dry.  There is no beach at
Beaconia.  Road is under water.  Hydro article provided for
                            information purposes.
