5. Correspondence Sent

Cox Morris Insurence
- A letter was sent inviting David Swinn to attend our meeting.

Mr. Swinn attended and responded to questions regarding the policy for the MACO executive and the policy for the individual associations.

There was concern regarding the exclusion of "athletic activities" might include games and races most often included in association family picnics.

Mr. Swinn advised that this was not the case.  Exclusion for an athletic activity would be something outside the usual which would not be expected by the insurer such as snowmobile races.

He suggested that if there was any activity that most associations would not be holding it would be best to contact him to ensure that it would be covered.  In some cases these activities could be covered with an additional payment.

The policy for the MACO executive does cover libel and slander.  He suggested that we increase our limited to $5m.  It costs about $50 for $2m/year.  We will make application that will be sent out for pricing
.

bridge over the channel.  Beavers are causing problems.  Auglen Park
has a harvesting permit.  Looking into erecting a building for meetings
  and to store lawnmowers.

Jim Neufeld - By email.
•Nothing from the north, however, the Conservation Department is close
to selecting a consultant to do the new service fee system for park
