Minutes of Meeting

1.Call to Order

    The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m.

2.Adoption of Agenda
    Rilla Britton moved adoption of the Agenda.  Seconded by Donna Jean Crabb.  Carried. 

3.Adoption of the Minutes
-Pat Dunlop moved adoption of the Minutes of September 18th , 2007.  
                                                                                 Seconded by Bill Russell.  
    Carried. 

4.Financial Report -

     Gary Dunlop moved adoption of the financial report presented with date correction. Seconded by Bill Russell.  Carried.

5.Correspondence Received

       Several callers regarding BOW Cottage Owners.  Were all referred back to their constitution and advised to attend
       meetings and vote.

6.Correspondence Sent

• News release sent out - very little response.
• Tembec - Dave and Gus went on the annual tour.

7.Old Business

a)  Website - Updates to website done.

b)  Water Stewardship Fund - carried forward

c)  Cheque for $5,000 - carried forward

d)  School Taxes
      "Petitions - BF Rally to be called.

•  Supplies - bags for silent auction, tape and felt marker.
•  Door Prize - Pat to pick up, donated by Dave's company.
•  Director registration - Bill Russell moved that the Directors not pay for the AGM registration.  Seconded by Gary
    Dunlop. 
Carried.


8.New Business
"Hollow Water - There are more than 20 cottages where roads are blockaded.  Dave attended and outlined meeting.
Gus Wruck moved that letters be sent to the Premier and Member of Parliament for the area with a copy to Gerald Hawranik.  Seconded by Ken Corbett.  Carried.

9.Directors' Reports

Dave Crabb - Advised of bear activities in area.  There are also flying squirrels. A new neighbour nervous about animal
                          activity.  Water system shut down.

Gary Dunlop - A few die-hards are still there.  Watercraft are being moved out and snowmobiles are being moved in. 

Bill Russell - Three different associations did not get invoice.  CCB, BOW and Hazelwood.  Had calls from BOW residents re
                         boat docks.  Concerns re permission and question on insurance.  Attended meeting Doblas Action Group.

Shirley Nixon
- No report.

Gus Wruck -
Boat launch keeps coming up.  Municipal election October 24th as one counselor resigned.  One association
                        group has lawyer.  Concern that ATV coming down snowmobile trail and into field.  Who regulates at 3:00 am. 
                        Report provided to counsel today.

Donna Jean Crabb - Closed up for winter.  There were lots out for Thanksgiving.
                                    Ken Corbett - weekenders are winding up.  RV Park store and Provincial Park closed.  Carole still
                                    shopping for silent auction items.

Pat Dunlop - No report.

Rilla Britton
- Rudy was on CJOB again today.  The fishing nets were confirmed as belonging to winter commercial fishermen
                         and not rogue fishermen.  Conservation acknowledged concerns that the nets were only about 6" below the
                         water level.  Conservation will be meeting with the fishing groups to tackle the problems.
