WHAT IS COVERED BY THE MACO POLICY

MACO offers all paid members the opportunity to enroll in their exclusive insurance package. But what does it insure ?

_________________________________________________________________________

COMPREHENSIVE GENERAL LIABILITY :

What is CGL.? This provides coverage for bodily injury and property damage to a third party for which the MACO member may be liable. In addition, the legal costs are covered, but only if a suit is filed against the association. If an association is sued, we must be called and then we would notify the insurance company. They call in their legal advisors and they would handle the legal aspects.

PROPERTY OF EVERY DESCRIPTION

What does it mean ? Property of  every description is essentially any property which the MACO member organization owns and which is not excluded under the policy. This may include anything from small objects like lawn mowers to more complex property such as a pump house. The policy automatically insures property up to $5000 . This can be increased upon request for a slight additional premium.

CRIME

Crime coverage is insurance for theft of money up to $1000.00. For example, the loss of annual fees if they were paid is cash would be covered .
