Adoption of Agenda Rene Comeault moved adoption of the agenda as amended. Seconded by Bill Russell. Carried. Adoption of the Minutes of the previous meeting of September 20, 2005 Pat Dunlop moved adoption of minutes with addition of purchase of gifts for Doug and Lorraine Neal. Seconded by Bill Russell. Carried. Financial Report Bill Russell moved adoption of the financial report. Seconded by Pat Dunlop. Carried. Correspondence Sent Correspondence Received Betty Ann Watts will attend the AGM and will bring some complimentary magazines. John Fefchak. Discussed concerns regarding boil water orders. It was suggested that these lists should be published so that people to see the numbers that exist mainly for education purposes. Gus Wruck suggested that Dave contact Sylvio Tessier. Discussion regarding wells on abandoned property. This should be added to the November agenda. Helen Falding. There are still some issues pending. Old Business Workshop/seminar planning. Not discussed Planning for AGM Silent auction – Ticket prices as last year. Nominating committee – Nominations will be made by committee. Joe to run elections. Gus to set up power point for election. Agenda – Discussed and set up. Website Sustainable Development Initiative Fund Ask Doug for the proposal again. New Business a) School taxes Directors Reports: Pat Dunlop – reported on status of beacon for Lundar Beach & Sugar Point area Gary Dunlop – advised that most had finished the season and only a few left including those who live there year round. Donna Jean Crabb – advised that she and Dave had gone through MACO stuff that Doug and Lorraine left. There is about a day left. Shirley Nixon – no report. Gus Wruck – Continuing water testing. Chemical good; bacteria – a few coliforms – normal range. New resident on the street – Gerald Hawranik. Dave Crabb - They will be getting all signs replaced with reflective signs. Most have closed for the season. Joe Younge – Oak Lake is quite. There are a couple of cabins in progress. New owners working on getting environmental approval on new golf course. All trailers gone. Installing new sewer system. Sifton lagoon has been operating for 3 years on a permit. Bill Russell – Confirmed that Daryll will not be at the AGM. Bill will find out from Doug who audited the books and see if same person will do so again. Rene Comeault - RM meeting moved to church basement to accommodate numbers. Planning is now involved. Meeting Saturday 15th in Lac du Bonnet to discuss new design. Blocking little pathways to beach. Researching to see if environmental approval. Told they didn’t need it. Possible bald eagle habitant. Presentation was sent with copy of package to DFO, Minister of Conservation and Gary Doer. Bird River representative advised to keep fighting for water access or it will be lost.
